Francesco Ragazzi, the founder of Palm Angels sees his career come full circle in this collaboration with Moncler Genius - he cut his teeth at the luxury outdoor clothing brand before going off to start his own label. The designer pays dues to his previous employer – using stunning Italian craftsmanship throughout every garment – but he still manages to subvert the status quo, too. Here, he takes a classic white crewneck and deconstructs it – drawing the outseams in towards the centre and leaving the hem in jagged destruction. One printed patch at the front features wild and wonderful scenes – of rowdy rockers, loose women and demonic kittens – while the other is mocked-up to look like a name badge. At the back, the words MIND CONTROL are flanked on either side by Moncler’s iconic rooster motif, while the sleeve features a metal crest that combines both brands’ logos.
