Vans Vault teams up Nigerian-American brand Dobale to give some of its classic silhouettes a vibrant update. The collection, ‘Forever Sunny in Ikoyi’, pays homage to the artist and founder Ade Okuboyejo’s cheerful childhood in Lagos. These Bold NI LX sneakers are a stylish example with their vibrant red, green and blue colourblock design which nods to the Lagos State Flag, while the custom checker foxing stripes merge Vans’ heritage with Ikoyi street curbs. The uppers are crafted from premium mixed suede and canvas, while underfoot there’s the brand’s signature UltraCush™ footbed and classic rubber sole – which here is signed off with the capsule’s script logo and a green branded heel tab.
