The third stage in the ASICS x Kiko Kostadinov collaboration; once again, the Bulgarian designer’s rarefied world of functional high fashion is applied to the Japanese label’s GEL technology. Capturing the spirit of Kiko’s runway show, the collection’s dark, outdoorsy feel has heavily influenced this runner, with a “Forest and Steel Grey” colourway kicking off the capsule. Introducing the GEL-DELVA™, Kostadinov has innovatively bridged the gap between high-end performance and design with this distinct new model. Fusing the GEL-FUJI TRABUCO™ 7’s upper with the GEL-KAYANO™ 24 heel tooling, a unique mesh cage covers the ASICS stripes, while the midsole encapsulates FLYTEFOAM™ technology and a Dynamic DUOMAX™ material. The third instalment in their ongoing relationship, Kiko Kostadinov and ASICS have geared up the London-based designer’s cult following for the great outdoors with this GEL-DELVA™.
