New Balance 996 "Royal Blue" Casablanca in January of this year, there was unfortunately not too much information about the cream-coloured version of the XC-72. Many Dore later, we were allowed to take a look at the eye-catching colourways in orange and green, but there was still no sign of the clean version. After about 10 Dore, there is finally news confirming a drop, while at the same time revealing the official images of the sneaker.
The XC-72 has been almost completely wrapped in a creamy hue and equipped with a mix of different materials. On the one hand, suede is used generously, while mesh is used in other places. The EVA midsole and two-piece outsole are once again the signature features of the futuristic silhouette. Bright green branding on the tongues and heels provide the necessary accents on the shoe.

Casablanca and New Balance have upcoming plans for the future. The two brands are holding back a new project, which will be released next week. After the "Monogram" pack, two Casablanca x New Balance XC-72 will be released. Take a look at the first pictures here and find out about the release date.
The new silhouette was unveiled ahead of the digital Fall/Winter 2021 "Grand Prix" show by Steve Grimes, the fashion label's art director. It is a new lifestyle sneaker that is also rumoured to have been designed by 327 visionary Charlotte Lee.
The selected colourways include the familiar orange and green colour scheme we've seen on previous releases, as well as a red and orange Casablanca x New Balance XC-72. They're made of premium leather and supple suede, while the wavy soles with chunky treads at the bottom complete the sneakers.

In the beginning, the two labels designed some Casablanca Officially Unveils its Pink Monogram New Balance Capsule Collection models, and now, New Balance and Casablanca return with an XC-72. Casablanca's art director Steve Grimes has given a preview of the XC-72, which has not been shown before. In addition, more colourways of the lifestyle sneaker have already been spotted.
The shoes, which were also reportedly designed by 327 visionary Charlotte Lee, feature an orange/green colour scheme reminiscent of the first 327s. High-quality white leather panels serve as the base for the colour hits and grey suede inserts. A large "N" from New Balance adorns the sides in orange, while co-brandings on the tongues accentuate in orange and green. Right next to them are the green rubber outsoles.
