It's been 30 years since Jordan Brand first released the air jordan 4 retro metallic. It's also a very special sneaker because the GOAT won his first ever championship with the 6th signature sneaker in the 1990–1991 playing with the Chicago Bulls. Now, of course, the brand is celebrating with a special sneaker. Here are the details on the air jordan 4 retro metallic "Bordeaux".
For the 30th anniversary, Jordan Brand is releasing a new AJ6. More specifically, the iteration was inspired by the Air Jordan 7 "Bordeaux", which debuted in 1992 and has been re-released over time. It is also the next release from the Air Jordan 1 Mid 'Chicago' 2020.
The shoe is made of a premium nubuck upper and features two hues for the most part. The base and overlays alternate with grey and anthracite for a stealthy look. In between, glossy tongues in a wine-inspired "Bordeaux" hue have been added to match the protruding heel tabs. In addition, the tongues feature a diamond pattern and orange lacing ties up the sneaker.
