In some sense, the original lifestyle sneaker, the Converse Chuck Taylor All Stars was born in 1917 as a basketball shoe. With the advent of new technologies, they haven’t seen much action on the courts since ‘Pistol’ Pete Marovich hung his up in the 70’s.
