Take a look at the second three-way collaboration in the last couple of days from Mita and New Balance. Last Friday, we showed you some images of their New Balance Elevate Yourself and now they invited inspiration from Tokyo’s FRAT creative collective for this New Balance MT576S. From a distance, this just appears to be a nice clean white running model, but a closer look reveals some late style touches.
In addition to a lavender lining and speckled grey midsole this MT576S flaunts some incredible decorative aspects. The heel and tongue are graced with imagery of the “Shi-mei-nawa” rope pattern and a bamboo rake design to represent FRAT’s Ueno neighborhood. As if that wasn’t enough, these kicks are also constructed with glow-in-the-dark materials, as well as New Balance’s patented ROLL BAR, ENCAP and C-CAP technologies to ensure comfort and performance.
