There are a lot of stories circulating right now regarding the incorrect date printed on the back of the “Draft Day” edition of the Zoom Kobe IV. The first batch to be released featured the date 6.11.96 on the back of the heel, but the day of the draft was actually June 26th, 1996. Nike has corrected the date and although a bunch of “wrong date” versions have already shipped and been sold, a second wave will soon hit stores with the date corrected to read 6.26.96. Only time will tell if the “wrong date” Zoom Kobe IV’s will become a collector’s item, but they are still in stores now, so you might want to grab a pair just in case before they get replaced by the corrected version. Aside from the date, the rest of the shoe remains identical, but you can still check out some images of the 6.11.96 version after the jump to compare. Via NT.
