Surely an interesting concept but considering the depth of Akuma’s character, a lot more could have been appended to this pair – perhaps the implementation of his signature red hair, his beads, or his flip-flops of death. Looking at the previous Nike SB Street Fighter releases in Chun Li and Ryu, the Street Fighter Pack is limited to colorways – albeit accurate ones – although Akuma’s original ‘ki’ was black, not blue.
