Japanese streetwear label (realmad) HECTIC has been working together with mita sneakers to release New Balance collaborations for ten years now, a span that’s all the more impressive when you consider that it predates nearly every ongoing sneaker collaboration. We’ve seen two different rustic colorways of the 580 runner but this new one goes even further to remind you of being in the forest. The hectic x mita sneakers x New Balance MT580 BKX takes this year’s inclination toward all-black everythings and GM500NAY some Ds on in the form of a woodgrain rear midsole. Throw in the anthology insoles and this makes for a sneaker that’d be just as pleasing on your mantle as the street. They’ll be available just in time for Christmas in Japan with a December 23rd drop date currently scheduled and you can click below to see more shots including those dope insoles. via Houyhnhnm
