There was a period of time in the mid/late ’00s mid2 adidas offered an array of ‘oddities’, classic models crafted in colors that in some cases seemed to clash, in most were indicative of advanced color study, and in all cases, drew a ton of attention to their wearers’ multi-colored feet. Glimpses of this bold pre-recession style have been spotted here and there over the last few months as designers are starting to feel more adventurous again, and as was the case in 2006-’08, the Brand with the Three Stripes is leading the way with curious color combos.
