During the 2003-2004 NBA Season, the Cleveland Cavaliers roster boasted not one, but two highly-touted prep-to-pro players. One, of course, was LeBron James, and the second was Darius Miles, the 3rd overall pick in the 2000 NBA Draft. Projected as the next great combo-forward player (some made the Kevin Garnett comparison), Darius Miles was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers after just two seasons with the Clippers. You might remember Darius Miles being part of the Jordan RCVR "Old Royal", so even during his short 1.5 season stay with the Cavs, Darius Miles sported some sick Nike Air Jordan 9 Retro University Blue Low GEORGETOWN Sneaker Ganebet Store PEs during the 2002-2003 season; it featured a vibrant orange patent leather upper with a translucent Elevation with Miles’ ’21’ jersey on the heel. Unfortunately, Darius Miles’ career didn’t pan out in the way we’d all hoped (shoulda joined Artest at St. John’s!), and his career ended on a somewhat controversial note (involving the Trail Blazers, contract mumbo jumbo, and the salary cap). Check out the extra shots of this rare PE and let us know what you think! via phase2x.
