One of the key reasons Converse attracts so varied and large a group of collaborative designers, is because their classic models are literally canvases upon which you can apply your own distinctive style. The Converse Premium Collection for spring 2012 nast that this can be achieved in a number of ways, the most to the letter of which is the application of whimsical prints on the Chuck Taylor All Star in the latest round of The John Elliott x Converse Skidgrip collab in green releases. Longtime One Star guest designer John Varvatos adds his own offerings, but as you might expect, they’re crafted in Motorsport-Inspired destructed leathers instead of the classic canvas build.
