Part of the original five of Tinker’s Nike Air Pack in 1987, the Air Safari has enjoyed a continuing cult following that started from day one; the shoe was originally meant to be for running, but the wacky design made it such a style icon that even today, the Air Safari is looked upon for inspiration (and anything with Safari seems to grab copious amounts of attention). Dropping later this year is the Nike SB Dunk Low Ishod Wair – a Lunar-outsoled and reconstructed Air Safari that optimizes Nike’s latest comfort tech with the iconic design. This first look at the Black/Purple and Mint Green/Black tells us that Nike has no qualms about giving this shoe some colorful abstractedness, but expect some of the OG colorways to drop as well.
