Fresh off the heels of his Gold Medal victory, Kobe Bryant took his talents to China where he participated in a number of events for his massive fanbase in the basketball-crazed country. During one in-store event at Nike Basketball’s Kicks Lounge (more on that later), we caught a glimpse of what may be some leather edition packaging for the Nike Zoom Kobe VII ‘Gold Medal’. Seen with a different box, a detailed tissue paper on the interior with Kobe’s face, and a leather hang-tag, it’s clear Nike went the extra step to house these iconic Kobe VIIs in a worthy box. No word if the shoes will release in this manner, but stay tuned for a release in the States as these have already hit stores overseas.
