Whether it can be attributed to Swizz Beatz’ influence, the growing sophistication of the sneakerhead set or some other reason that’s tough to put a finger on, Reebok is making a strong turnaround by reissuing its established classics in more and hotter new styles than at any period in recent memory. On one side of things we have ’90s bangers like the Question and Answer series, Shawn Kemp’s Kamikaze sigs and the Emmitt Smith turf trainers, and on the other, the OG ’80s silhouettes that created a platform upon which the Pump could blast off.
