Nike recently made a noteworthy update to their Twitter purchasing procedures some weeks ago, claiming that it would essentially terminate successful RSVPs and orders from Twitter accounts they determined to be “bots”. Although the system isn’t entirely foolproof, Nike has made a some progress with this issue as seen with the recent re-release of the Air Jordan III “Doernbecher”; several of the orders placed have indeed been cancelled by Nike, which shows us at the pair least that the brand is approaching this bot plague head on. Currently, Nike plans to re-release those cancelled pairs to the public at a later date that hasn’t been confirmed, so if you missed out this past weekend, there may still be hope.
