Nike recently made a noteworthy update to their Twitter purchasing procedures some weeks ago, claiming that it would essentially terminate successful RSVPs and orders from Twitter accounts they determined to be “bots”. Although the system isn’t entirely foolproof, Nike has made a some progress with this issue as seen with the recent re-release of the Air Jordan III “Doernbecher”; several of the orders placed have indeed been cancelled by Nike, which shows us at the pair least that the brand is approaching this bot plague head on. Your thoughts on Nike’s step toward eliminating bots? Stay tuned for more updates and get the discussion going on below.
