Reebok’s re-issues that are currently ruling the roost are mostly of the Pump variety: the Reebok Insta Pump Fury has of course been incredibly prolific in 2014 thanks to the countless collaboration projects and it looks like the original Pump model is about to go on a similar run with the Reebok Pump 25 project. There’s no doubt that the Pump technology was Reebok’s most recognizable during the early 90s, but keep in mind that their innovation didn’t stop there. Also important was the Reebok Hexalite technology, a sequel of sorts to their ERS platform, that can still be spotted on now classic runners like the Reebok Ventilator.
Speaking of the Ventilator, you’ve hopefully noticed that the model’s been gaining more and more profile as of late. Helping out with that is the new Reebok Classics Ventilator “Night Vision Pack” that’s on display here. The group ups the visibility on this classic Reebok silhouette by sliding some reflective materials into the stripes across the side. That’s not to say that the colors used don’t provide plenty of visibility though – brilliant hues like rebel berry, classic teal, and Persian blue show up for the shoes to ensure that they won’t be flying under the radar.
