Kobe Bryant made a lasting impact on China during his stint as a member of 2008’s USA Men’s Basketball Team known affectionately as the Redeem Team. The squad took Beijing by storm and Kobe’s strong play was enough to create lifetime fans overseas, as his most recent trip to China proved that the country still had a lot of love for the Black Mamba. Nike’s RISE campaign continues to run throughout Asia with the largest and most ambitious legs of the tour stopping at Shanghai and Guangzhou over the weekend. The House of Mamba construction was back featuring that unique LED court for the second straight schedule as Kobe helped push the RISE initiative aimed at helping young players develop skills both on and off the court. Bryant will be rounding out the tour with a final stop in Taipa later this week. Check out the full piece over on Nike News and stay tuned for other tours featuring the likes of LeBron James, Paul George, and more of Nike Basketball’s finest later this schedule.
