High fashion is usually a bit over the heads of the sneaker community. We don’t understand every $1,000 sneaker, just like the fashion snobs probably don’t understand why somebody would wait in line for a pair of Air Jordans. One thing both parties can probably agree on, though: Raf Simons’ adidas sneakers are pretty weird. But in a good way, of course. The next creative sneaker offering from the fashion house is seen here today, the Response Trail Robot, which does in fact look kind of a like a sneaker made for a robot. It’s inspired by vintage astronaut suits, actually, which you can see translated into sneaker form with the technical metal grommets and white and silver colorway. Those bold enough to wear a pair can find the space-age sneaker now at finer adidas Originals retailers around the globe.
