The Nike Air Flight ’89 got the Kanye bump a few years back and has since solidified itself as a proper Nike Sportswear feature. It wasn’t until recently though that Nike decided to outfit the basketball retro in a number of lifestyle ready mockups. The whole “What are those!?” movement may have even forced Nike’s hand to further identify this sleeper hit, as a bold ’89 graphic is painted on on the heel so there’s no question which era this model came from. As for the rest of the retro, the all white aesthetic is never tiresome, with premium intentions being revealed through the use of faux results leather on the side panels. This pair has already dropped in Europe and is available in U.S. now.
