Introducing the new Jordan Brand Design Director: Ken Link. Since its inception all the way back in 1998, Jordan Brand has pushed forward new product from a team of respected designers. Now for the first time ever, the brand will move forward with two separate design teams focused on either performance or casual silhouettes. Link has been a veteran designer with a resume second to none. He’s worked with Nike for over two decades and has crafted multiple silhouettes in the Kobe and LeBron lines. He’s previously worked as Nike Basketball’s Design Director throughout the 2000s and helped bolster the Nike Training imprint. Link’s debut season of products is expected to be in the summer of 2017. It’s an exciting time over at Jordan Brand and their new thought process moving forward will ensure that both their growing lifestyle market gets the proper attention it deserves while not taking away from the performance line. Stay tuned for more.
