New year, new kicks. The Texas Longhorns just flexed a new PE colorway of the KD 8, the signature sneaker by Nike for the Longhorns’ most decorated athlete to ever grace the burnt orange. The school has rarely since outside of the solid light brown colorway, so it’s no surprise that their new PE for 2016 features a combat color-blocking rather than going for the “fractal” graphics that just popped up on NIKEiD. It’s been quite a while since Nike actually released a Texas PE, but thanks to the aforementioned online customization experience, does the brand even need to go the general release route? Check out this first look here and let us know if you think Texas colorways should hit stores officially. If they do, we’ll be first to let you know.
