It was ten years ago that pro skateboarder Dennis Busenitz signed on with adidas to help kickstart their then-new Skateboarding division. Needless to say, he’s been an integral part of program ever since, almost single-handedly giving relevance to the Three Stripes in modern skateboarding with the release of the Busenitz Pro in 2009, a model that’s now an all-time classic skate shoe. To keep the 10-year anniversary of the partnership between Dennis and adidas rolling, the brand is ready to launch another premium edition of the Busenitz Pro, dubbed the “Classified”. Following up the uber-premium “Scheinfeld” edition, the Classified features a buttery tonal black leather upper with a strip of brown leather for the usually-rubber heel counter, all contrasted with a solid white sole. The impressive construction of the Busenitz Pro is arriving now at select overseas retailers, and should hit US adidas Skateboarding suppliers soon.
