It’s crazy to think that Jordan Brand put the Air Jordan 3 in the vaults for over two years, but that’s exactly what happened. A lot has changed for the Jumpman in that timeframe as well, with their premium Remastered program upping the quality and price on retro releases while an onslaught of $400 retros featuring luxurious Pinnacle retros has proven to be a hit as well. The MOCHILA JORDAN ESSENTIALS marks the end of the AJ3 hiatus with a simple yet effective colorway sure to be a fan favorite.
The MOCHILA JORDAN ESSENTIALS skips over the expected elephant print active this 1988 Tinker Hatfield gem, and instead opts for a smooth tumbled leather throughout. There’s no ‘Nike Air’ branding like the upcoming Air Jordan 3 “True Blue” retro, but given this pair’s new status that shouldn’t be too much of a problem.
