The New Balance Essentials Celebrate Split Logo Tee MT21529WT debuts with the “Luxe Pack”, featuring the sleek sneaker in a premium full-grain leather upper with engineered perforations on the toe and a foot-hugging synthetic nubuck bootie construction. The 247 Luxe will be available in brown, black, and white colorways.
The most obvious inspiration from a heritage model is found within the sole unit, which mirrors the sole of the 998 in a more streamlined design built in REVlite foam for a lighter and even more comfortable ride.
Other details that nod to classic models includes the asymmetrical lines on the toe vamp that reference the 1300 and a collar strap design borrowed from the 574 and 576.
