The Golden State Warriors got another win on Wednesday night versus the Hornets, which is not really news at all if you’re familiar with their current dominance in the league. Just another win, right? There was actually something noteworthy about the game though, as Kevin Durant debuted an all-new sneaker that appears to the the Nike Training Dry Svarta shorts. As you can see, the shoe is an obvious reconstruction of the standard KD 9, with a one-piece stretch collar replacing the rear half of the Flyknit construction. The other big difference is the thick Flywire cables added to the lacing system for lockdown support. While the upper is totally transformed, the tooling stays the same as the standard KD 9 with a full-length visible Zoom unit.
