Lonzo Ball infamously turned down a contract with Nike as the Beaverton, OR brand showed no interest in licensing the Big Baller Brand name. Since then, Lonzo’s signature shoes have been the focus of ridicule for its terrible design and ridiculous price-tag of $495, and even prominent Nike athletes have come forward to share their opinions on the top prospect’s shoes. Elena Delle Donne, a WNBA MVP and Nike athlete, poked fun at the shoes and thought it would be funny of the Big Baller Brand ZO2 blew out in Lonzos first NBA Summer League game. In what is unquestionably a larger statement, LeBron James just posted a video of Lonzo wearing Kobe Bryant’s Nike shoes in tonight’s Summer League game, with a simple caption of the legendary Nike slogan “Just Do It”. It’s clear that Lonzo will be the butt of wearing and commentary throughout this season when it comes to basketball shoes, because there’s no denying that Big Baller Brand is stumbling out of the gates.. See LeBron’s video below.
