Hender Scheme rose to prominence by ripping off some of the most iconic sneaker designs in luxury form through vachetta tan leathers. That’s not a knock at the brand either – they did the ground work and then major brands followed suit by bringing the tanned leather aesthetic to some of your favorite offerings in general release form. And while most of their handcrafted creations were way out of the traditional sneaker buyer’s price range, Hender Scheme definitely left a lasting impact on the industry while being a bit anti-industry.

That all changes with the Hender Scheme x adidas Originals collaboration, as the brand has officially partnered with the three stripes for an insane three shoe collection featuring the adidas NMD, the adidas Superstar, and the adidas Micropacer. The adidas NMD is absent of any Boost and the Micropacer won’t actually run your running time because there’s no way you’re hitting the run with a $950 USD leather sneaker. The prices are as insane as the attention to detail, but the trio is worth checking out. Select stores will start stocking this collection on September 2nd.
