Now, that news has popped up once again with a first actual look at the primarily black sneaker with University Red and Court Purple highlights. Much like the Air Jordan 1 Mid Carolina Abiola Fapohunda and the Marking the 25th Anniversary of the Air Jordan line before it, this pair does not come with an official “Raptors” monicker, but its color scheme plays along with the team from the North’s original aesthetic perfectly. In fact, the OG Marking the 25th Anniversary of the Air Jordan line – dubbed the “True Red” – with the same color scheme released three years before the Raptors were even a part of the NBA in 1992.
