Kanye West’s longtime barber and associate Ibn Jasper has grown his own powerful personal following over the last decade, collaborating with the likes of Diamond Supply Co on footwear and apparel in the past and teasing everything from unreleased adidas Yeezy silhouettes shoes to never-before-seen OFF WHITE x Nike collaborations on social media. Now he’s ready to start his own ventures in the footwear market with his own brand, Lace-up Stratica International. Jasper first took to Instagram earlier this week to announce that he’d created the brand eight weeks ago and just received back his first footwear sample, a unique silhouette named the “Factory BRT.”
The new shoe offers a strong retro vibe with a straightforward lacing system and a forefoot strap for extra lockdown, while a wide assortment of colors including cream baby blue,black, purple,and red adorn the white leather upper. The shoe’s interesting look is completed with a classic gum sole.
