While Carmelo Anthony’s pre-professional career is most known for his National Championship winning freshman season at Syracuse University, it was at Oak Hill Academy where he truly got his start. The Oak Hill Academy is known as one of the best high schools for basketball in the entire country with alumni the likes of Anthony, Kevin Durant, Rajan Rondo, and more. While Melo and the Jumpman have released a number of special sneakers the likes of the recently dropped Air Jordan 9 “MOP”, this 13 dons one of his best looks to date.
Sticking with the theme of the entire pack, this Jordan 13 ushers in a Black, University Red, and University Gold color scheme to match the Warriors of Oak Hill, while opting to add sporty satin and suede details for another premium aesthetic. Like the other two entrants in this pack, its insole sports “Class of 2002” on the right sneaker with Melo’s signature Jordan Brand logo placed on the right. Peep an exclusive set of images below, and look forward to the September 15th release of Melo’s Jordan 13 “Graduation Pack”.
