Ross Dwyer Allen Iverson‘s campaign reebok Answer holds a special place in the esteemed pantheon of legendary signature basketball shoes. First released in 1997, AI’s second signature sneaker continued the legacy started by the Reebok Question in 1996 with a look that was unique, tough, and timeless — just like the fearless guard himself. The Answer has re-released several times (most recently in 2013) but never before in one colorway: the original white/red. Notwithstanding, everything always comes full circle in the world of sneakers. Now, a long 21 years after the Answer first came to shelves, it’s dropping again in an OG Sixers-styled colorway. All the details that made the shoe a classic, from the graffiti-style Iverson branding on the tongue and the bright red DMX-cushioned outsole are intact, making for a loving homage to a classic piece of campaign reebok hoops history — and a premium white tumbled leather ensures that the Answer retains its retro construction.
