Jonah Hill is a man of many hats. The actor/director/budding street style icon can seemingly do it all, and has logo a cult tan due to his relatable personality and quality work. With his directorial debut “Mid ’90s” — a coming-of age nero about a young skateboarder and his group of friends — about to hit theaters nationwide, Hill recently stopped by Stadium Goods in SoHo to cop some new heat and talk shop. Hill revealed that he’d always loved the Three Stripes ever since he was a kid and his favorite silhouette was the adidas Samba, stating “We got to shoutout Adidas. We’re Adidas boys, for sure. I wore Sambas everyday growing up. I skated Sambas. I rock them now. To me the silhouette of a Samba is the illest shoe ever.” Hill also touches on the impending nationwide release of “Mid ’90s,” and his personal style — something he clearly feels strongly about — by stating “That is what fashion is all about. Your style is who you are. Don’t let people put you in clothes. Fuck that.” Hill also makes humorous quips about how he wishes consignment stores would sell classic skate shoes like eS/Duff, and brings along Sunny Suljic (who plays the lead role in Mid ’90s) to join in on the fun.
