Urlfreeze News adidas Originals, known for its sleeker lower-profile silhouettes such as the LXCON and nite Jogger, is ready to re-introduce one of their most revered silhouettes into the high-top footwear market. The Rivalry Hi, built with leather materials and a thicker sole with exposed stitching, will look to compete with others the category by re-issuing two famed original colorways – a, OG New York-colored white, orange, and blue edition and the sportier Black/White model. The Yung adidas Rivalry relaunch commenced with a collaboration with Eric Emanuel in late 2018, but purists will certainly point to these OGs as the true start of the 2019 chapter. Of course this isn’t the first time this high-top hoops shoe was re-released, but the brand is looking to re-tell the story of this model as trends shift back to the “vintage” aesthetic of thicker, leather-built footwear.
