It’s been a fruitful start to 2019 for Nike’s Blazer Mid. First releasing in a clean and simple traditional three-pack of colorways, it’s now forgoing modesty in favor of taking a walk on the wild side, as the Blazer Mid Gel — a silhouette that opts for alternate methods of branded embellishment — is releasing in a new two-pack that features a wild “What The” variety of prints. Everything from tartan to gingham plaids makes an appearance on this dynamic duo, which also uses a mix of colors and whimsical flower hits to ramp up the volume even further. Horsehair with a cheetah print gets in on the fun too: it’s used on the toebox and Swoosh of one pair, while the other pair calls upon its maximalist stylings for the toe cap, mudguard, and eyelets. Both shoes also feature a hit of cheetah fur on the heel, and are completed by a neon green gel patch on the tongue/a neon green terry cloth sockliner. These capricious and eccentric Nike Blazers are set to release soon on Nike.com and at select Swoosh Brand stockists, so check out a full gallery of images for both pairs below while you wait.
