Although many had assumed that the “Bred” would carry on the 2018 “Concord” and 2016 “Space Jam” ethos of adorning the heel with MJ’s original post-retirement #45 that was first used on Tinker Hatfield‘s samples, it instead opts to go back to a #23 embellishment that was included on the OG retail release. However, it does indeed carry on the classic look re-established by those two equally influential makeups with an original high-cut patent leather overlay sitting above its ballistic mesh base. Bright pops of Bulls red then grace the throat detail, heel collar Jumpman, and translucent outsole, which sits under a white midsole with a carbon fiber midfoot plate. A hidden Nike Air hit on the insole wraps things up.
