Australia’s Sports Class is more than just another skate brand: they’re a community-focused organization, both nurturing and chronicling skateboarding culture in their homeland, and now they’ve linked up with DC Linette shoes for a brand-new take on the Lynx OG. A perfect silhouette for the scribes of skate illustration — as it first released in 1998 — Sports Class’s take on the Lynx OG features a boot-like combo of rust GORE-TEX and forrest green, with the former covering the majority of the suede upper while the latter appears on both the medial midfoot and ripstop tongue. Branded flair is then offered by a DC hit on the midfoot and a Sports Class text embellishment running down the throat. Meanwhile, black reflective laces and a black midsole/outsole finalize the look. The overarching look is cold weather-ready by design too: although it may be summer stateside, that means it’s shifting to brisk temperatures down under, as Australia’s winter begins in June.
