Following closely in line with the derby-inspired AJ1 released only months ago, Beaverton’s latest Air Jordan 4 is something straight out of the equestrian field of study, outfitting a colorway quite similar to the iconic “Black Cat” in an all-over pony hair construction. Left subtle in palette, the pair is largely as it appears with the luxe makeover completely overthrowing the model’s typical presentations. Once believed to be of cow fur, each panel element — which bears the material of choice with full dedication — creates a wild look that is slowly becoming synonymous with the brand itself. Cages, both placed atop as well as laid out more so within, are the most ordinary by comparison as they opt for glossy finishes and standard hardshell netting, respectively; branded tabs at the back are equally matte with its logo hits following suit though raised by a touch along the z axis. Grab a official look at their newest AJ4 right here, and if you’re interested in picking up a set, they’ll surely be available at select retailers and Nike.com within the coming months.
