As we taper off towards the last few days of 2019, Russell Westbrook and his Jumpman family prepare to turn the page to the next chapter of their basketball partnership as they officially unveil the Why Not Zer0.3. In terms of design, the new silhouette is more so of an evolution as opposed to a revolution. Shape is presented not so far off from its predecessor, as its high-profile constructions carry over its bold/multi-paneled look, all the while adding more intricately cut edges into its midsole. Mid-foot zones now arrive with a containment strap, while the cushioning system is tweaked with an all-new Zoom Air cushioning unit designed for premium responsiveness during play.
Aesthetically, these hardwood-ready sneakers are as flashy as every characteristic of the All-Star point guard’s persona. The debut colorway fittingly dubbed the “Zer0 Noise” speaks to Westbrook’s always on mentality of drowning out all the distractions and doubt thrown his way. A plethora of vibrant colors scattered upon its upper get blended with black/white overlays placed towards the forefoot and heels drawing close connections to the moment your television goes wild with static noise. Two colorways including the “Zero Noise” and “The Family” will kick off the the model’s launch next month and will be dropping alongside a full apparel collection on January 2nd, followed by the “Heartbeat” makeover on March 5th for $130 USD.
