Every year we see a new common trend, and while 2018 had sole swaps and 2019 the fashionably late retro, 2020 seems to harbor an early penchant for alternating colors: a somewhat vintage tooling brought back by way of the ebb and flow of sneaker culture. Vans has used it aplenty, newer collaborations have borrowed it as well, but the most recent comes out of Nike SB with their now re-burgeoning Dunk High. Dubbed the “Spectrum,” pairs take on a look by and large more playful than the “Viotech” in color blocking, though it opts out of more saturated tones in favor of a pastel assortment, adding faded blues to its heel wrap and then donning a much lighter yellow to the toe with the colors switching places as they transition over to the other foot. Bases either dress in creams or a sherbet orange with Swooshes overlaid being the only accents to mirror in its dark black suede. Grab a detailed look at these right here and expect to find them at select skate shops and hopefully Nike SNKRS Don't Miss Out On This Week's Nike 'Dusty Peach' & 'Moss'.
