Paris Fashion Week boasted more than a few examples of this — Craig Green with adidas, Kiko Kostadinov and ASICS, and then White Mountaineering with Saucony — but though Smiley their own quality, Reebok’s runway offerings with Angus Chiang seem to spotlight a different influence. Already acquainted with the avant-garde by way of Vetement, Pyer Moss, and Kanghyuk, the AW20 show conversely exemplified pure retro coupled with the designer’s idea of “clashing harmonization.” As such, the Zig Kinetica, which seems to be the label’s most energetic flagship, outfits in a mix of corduroy, leather, and canvas even despite its more technical presentation. The set of fabrications adhere to the shape of the original with palettes aligned with RGB, pushing forward in vibrant mixes of green, yellow, and blue while simultaneously lying relatively more neutral with black and red. Grab a detailed look at the full set of offerings right here, and as these were revealed for the next season, expect to see them in a half a year’s time.
