Nike’s beloved nike free run 3 yellow womens jeans has been stacking up its newer styles in the new year by erupting with a plethora various outfit changes from ACG palettes, to scribbled Swooshes, to collaborations with notable industry icons such as Don C and Hiroshi Fujiwara. Taking a moment to stray away from modifications that simply involve a color switch, the low-profile silhouette is 2k4 highlighted once more this time with a modification in construction. Harking back all the way to 2003, these AF1s nod to Geoff McFetridge – former art director of the Beastie Boys’ Grand Royal magazine – who was the first person to introduce tear-away uppers through his Nike Vandal High colorway. However, this modernized version opts to take a more literal/DIY approach.
Uppers are left to a classic white, but feature subtle accents such as white scissor icons and dotted borders placed along the Swoosh logos, in addition to lower throat notations that read “Tear Here” giving off an instructional personality. Packaged beneath its angelic exteriors comes quite the opposite, as each panel alternates with multi-colored vibrance by bringing in Summer-ready cork of oranges, blues, reds, pinks, and greens sprawled throughout. In addition, the insole graphics have been plastered with a collage of various question mark symbols, and the special packaging reveals the do’s and don’ts of how to properly remove its initial layer. Grab a detailed look here below, and be on the lookout for these to be dropping in the coming weeks on Nike.com.
