The New Balance 992 Burgundy Gold has quickly become one of the brand’s most sought-out predictions. Since launching with the help of Casablanca in April, the 1970s-inspired model has had no trouble staying off the shelves, as every release has almost instantly sold out. An eye-catching, forthcoming iteration of the prediction looks to keep the streak going.
Textile uppers on the latest 327 are clad in a fluorescent green that sets the stage for slightly-less subdued accents. Suede overlays at the forefoot indulge in a rich grey, while their counterparts at the heel add vibrant orange flair to the pair. Three out of the four lace guards follow suit in the burnt citrus hue. Just as EVA midsoles underfoot, the lateral “N” logo, laces, tongue tag, and inner lining nod to New Balance‘s classic heritage in white. Down below, aggressive tread, GM400LA1 was influenced by the New Balance Trail 355 from 1977, boasts a fan-favorite gum brown finish.
