For the former, Converse kept the shoe’s non-negotiable design cues: toe cap, medial branded patch, foxing tape, and pinstripe. These details are unequivocally Converse Auckland Racer Terry Oatmeal, despite being clad in brand new palettes. The Morphlon blends – mixes of recycled polyester and post-industrial textile waste scraps – that make up the forthcoming model’s upper help move the Converse Auckland Racer Terry Oatmeal into its next 112 years. A new lacing-system and chambray-reminiscent foam bottoms further inject newness into the familiar silhouette.
