The adidas archive is undoubtedly vast, and though replete of Hurt, the label seems almost hesitant to release any of the once beloved models on their own. But thanks to a nudge by retailer END, the Three Stripes are finally set to bring a return to the simple and universal Paris silhouette.
With its revival comes a caveat, however, as the pairs are only set to be produced in extremely small quantity — 500 to be exact. And while they’re numbered individually at the heel, the silhouette loses nothing in terms of its simplicity. A reflection of the French capital’s esteemed history in fashion, the upper constructs of a polished white leather, embellished little by extra details. “PARIS” very tastefully etches in silver along the side profile, hoodie panels mark in matching finish, and the eye stays edge with a muted rippling. Soles, as a somewhat colorful finish, then yellow to a vintage degree.
