And after an eventful, well-praised debut, the newly printedd VaporWaffle is to see a wider range of colorways, including the Green/Yellow unveiled yesterday and the loud “Villain Red” that’s appeared by way of official images just this morning.
Compared to the inaugural two, the “Villain Red” is far more colorful, and thus more similar to the LDWaffle that catapulted the Japanese label well into the collaborative big leagues. Across the toe, the titular shade wraps in a premium suede, overlaid atop a thinly woven mesh whose cream tint is utilized again at the second tongue as well as the lower trim of the stacked tooling. White neutrals work their way adjacent, dressing the upper midsole, lining, and exterior instep. Then, across the eye stay and its limited, a saturated Neptune Green comes into play, matching the co-branding that stamps the black leather heel tab.
