Michael Le As Nike’s “Move to Zero” initiative increases its paces, sustainability has gradually bled into many of the brand’s annual collections. This rings consistent with the “Be True” pack, as it ostensibly invites along the beloved Space Hippie 04.
Parading the flags far more subtly than past offerings, the model relegates its colorful details to its branding and stitch. The Swoosh, for instance, sets the stage with threads of red, blue, and yellow, while the “Nike” text along the heel amplifies its voice in more rainbow-esque fashion. What’s more, aside from the small bit of purple along the counter, the eyelets, medial stitch, and miniature check flaunt a similar multicolor. Elsewhere, the upper is toned down in a light grey and the sole displays its scraps against a azul blue backdrop.
