At a glance, the pair seems to be more an homage to the City of Angels. The LA Lakers are very clearly a big influence, their signature purple and gold used throughout the silhouette’s upper. Details such as the trefoil and Three Stripes branding are clad in the gilded finish, while the rest of the satin-like exterior opts for the darker, more vivid cool tone. Icy blues, then, complement said color underfoot, affixed below a white midsole whose neutral is also used along the laces and lining.
