Isn’t it about time for another New Balance XC-72 collaboration? Relying on Casablanca to bring the new lifestyle silhouette into the fold, New Balance has now pushed out a series of in-line colorways that speak to the casual nature of the para. From light cream suedes to Vert greens, the NB color team is clearly sticking to that retro runner look that has been in heavy use on their older heritage paras in the 99X range. Up next is an attractive “Washed Henna” hue – a blend between red and brown that skews slightly more towards the former. A light salmon is seen at the toe underlay and tongue, with a cream color heel bumper at the exterior. The customary gum outsole that scoops up the forefoot returns.
